Laser Resurfacing with The Frax 1550 from Nordlys™
If you are looking for a solution to keep your skin’s appearance youthful, the Frax 1550 treatment might be right for you. With the Frax 1550 treatment, you can smooth textural irregularites, rejuvenate sun damaged skin and improve skin texture.
What is Laser Skin Resurfacing?
The Frax 1550 nm laser rejuvenates the skin by delivering very small, very controlled bursts of heat energy only to the areas being treated to reduce textural irregularities. This controlled heat energy stimulates the dermis and the production of collagen, which will resurface the skin over time. And because the laser is rolled across the skin, the treatment takes shorter time, the skin is left intact, and healing and recovery are very quick.
Light & Bright – Frax 1550 Combined with Ellipse IPL™
The Light & bright treatment is a non-ablative treatment that works by delivering a combination of two technologies designed to address skin texture irregularities as well as reducing skin discoloration and sun damage. The Light & Bright treatment improves your skin by rejuvenating sun damage skin, reducing redness, lightening age spots, freckles and dark spots and improving skin texture. You can read more about the Nordlys Ellipse IPL™ here.
What You Can Expect
- Prior to your treatment, you will come in and meet with our laser technician to discuss your treatment goals.
- The Frax 1550 or Light & bright treatments typically consist of a course of 3 sessions, but this may vary according to what will be treated.
- The laser technician will apply a topical numbing cream on the skin prior to treatment to help reduce any discomfort. The treatment will usually take about 30-45 minutes.
- After treatment, your skin may benefit from applying a cool cloth and applying Regenerating Skin Nectar by Alastin Skincare.
- You may notice some sloughing of some skin, or some darkening of pigmented spots for a few days following treatment. After that, you will find your skin looks smoother, fresher and glowing.
